The experimental design is very popular in natural and physical sciences because it is the best method to establish causality of one factor on another factor. Despite such benefits, the application of the experimental design remains limited in social sciences. This is partly because only few social scientists are trained to apply the experimental design to their research context. Consequently, there is a scarcity of experimental publications in social sciences. This experimental design training is an opportunity to fill this gap and boost the experimental publications across diverse disciplines. This program includes both a theoretical foundation and two (2) practical cases; one (1) in natural sciences and one (1) in social sciences.
The course is designed for emerging and experienced researchers who want to expand their methodological scope and learn more about causal research.
There is no specific prerequisite for this course.
