Statistical Data Analysis with SPSS/ STATA/ Ms Excel (Basic)
This course guides the learners through the process of capturing the data, choosing the right statistics and running basic statistical data analysis with IBM SPSS and interpreting the results. The course is designed for Universities, research centres, marketing managers and marketing research companies as well as Program managers (NGOs). The course caters for anyone with limited or no statistical background; it is also recommended for people who gained statistical experience many years ago and wants to refresh their knowledge.
- Questionnaire design (statistical implications)
- Data capturing
- Choosing the appropriate statistic for data analysis
- Descriptive data analysis and interpretation

Statistical Data Analysis with SPSS/ STATA/ Ms Excel (Intermediate)
This intermediate course focuses on the statistical tests commonly used in both the academia and the industry. Delegates will review statistical techniques such as the Chi-Square test of independence, Pearson correlation test, reliability test, convergent validity tests, discriminant validity test, multiple linear regression tests, t-test and one-way ANOVA test. Participants will learn how to set up these analyses, when to apply them and how to interpret the results. The module is designed for Universities, research centres, marketing managers, market research companies and NGOs (Program Managers). Basic knowledge of IBM SPSS Statistic is required prior attending the intermediate class.
- Chi-Square test of Independence
- Pearson Correlation test
- Multiple Linear regression
- One-way ANOVA test
Statistical Data Analysis with SPSS/ STATA/ Ms Excel (Advanced)
The advanced data analysis course consists of statistical tests applied to address complex problems. Delegates will review advanced statistical techniques such as Factor analysis, logistic regression test, average variance extracted (AVE) and maximum variance shared (MVS) interpretation, two-way ANOVA, MANOVA and ANCOVA tests. Special emphasis will be on when and how to set up the analysis, as well as how to interpret the results. The module is designed for universities, research centres, marketing managers, market research companies and NGOs (Program Managers). This module is designed for anyone who has worked with IBM SPSS Statistics and wants to become better versed in advanced statistics.
- Factor analysis
- Two-way ANOVA
- Logistic regression
- Statistical evidence of convergent and discriminant validity
